Estepa, SVD, Ph.D. (USC President), Dr. Joel Ilao (Director, De La Salle University Advanced Research Institute for Informatics, Computing, and Networking), Shirley Chu (Assistant Dean for External Affairs and Lasallian Mission, DLSU College of Computer Studies), Nathaniel Oco (Senior Lecturer, Center for Language Technologies).

University President Fr. Francisco Antonio Estepa, SVD, Ph.D. and USC Department of Computer, Information Sciences, and Mathematics (DCISM) Chair, Angie Ceniza-Canillo, Ph.D. represented the University during the signing ceremony.

On the other hand, De La Salle University was represented by Dr. Joel Ilao (Director, De La Salle University Advanced Research Institute for Informatics, Computing, and Networking), Shirley Chu (Assistant Dean for External Affairs and Lasallian Mission, DLSU College of Computer Studies), and Nathaniel Oco (Senior Lecturer, Center for Language Technologies).

This MOU establishes a framework for academic cooperation. Both institutions will explore staff immersion, curriculum development, and student mobility. These activities focus on the research, application, and commercialization of new technologies.

The partnership specifically connects the USC’s DCISM with the DLSU’s College of Computer Studies.

For USC students in particular, exchange programs and seminars offer diverse learning environments. These initiatives build industry networks and collaborative skills, ensuring graduates are professionally ready.
