The University of San Carlos and the USC Department of Teacher Education celebrate the excellent performance of alumna Princess Heivee Ugbaniel Dacumos during the March 2026 Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (LEPT).

Dacumos, a graduate of the Bachelor of Special Needs Education (specialization in Early Childhood Education—Montessori Education), placed 7th in the LEPT-Elementary Level with an impressive rating of 93.40%.
USC’s first-time takers achieved an impressive 100% passing rate in the Elementary Level and a 96.97% passing rate for the Secondary Level, far surpassing the national passing rates.
This milestone is celebrated by the entire Carolinian community. It stands as a shared triumph for our hardworking mentors, our dedicated Department Chair, Dr. Rhey L. Dizon, and School of Education Dean, Dr. Rolando V. Obiedo, together with the faculty and staff members whose unwavering faith and encouragement guided our successful passers throughout their journey.
Congratulations, Carolinian Teachers!
