USC to host 3rd Core-to-Core Int’l. Biosymposium

The University of San Carlos Department of Biology will host the 3rd Core-to-Core International Biosymposium 2026 on October 12 and 13, 2026 at the SAFAD Theater in Talamban Campus.

With the theme “Advancing Health, Agriculture, and Global Sustainability through Tropical Bioresources,” this year’s symposium focuses on uniting leading researchers, innovators, and students to explore how unique ecosystems can shape the future of global science. Attendees will have the opportunity to share groundbreaking research, build international partnerships, and learn from leading scientific experts.

Key Dates to Remember:

First Call for Abstracts: Closes July 25, 2026 (Second Call: August 25)
Early Registration Deadline: September 1, 2026
Final Registration Deadline: September 15, 2026

Seven key scientific tracks are covered by the symposium, namely:

  • Biopesticides and Agrochemical Alternatives
  • Functional Foods and Gut Health
