Facilities and Services


The University of San Carlos offers some specialized professional services, many of which utilize state-of-the-art equipment in its research and teaching facilities. These services include the Center for Statistical Services and Training, the USC Water Laboratory, and Field Emission Scanning Electron Microscope facility.

Center for Statistical Services and Training

The Center for Statistical Services and Training (CSST) provides statistical services and training to empower USC faculty members and student researchers, as well as external clients, with statistical knowledge and data analytic tools.


USC Water Laboratory

The University of San Carlos Water Laboratory offers analytical services for water, soil, ore, and other special samples. The Water Laboratory is accredited as a testing laboratory by the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) and the Department of Health (DOH).

Field Emission Scanning Electron Microscope

The University has a Field Emission Scanning Electron Microscope (FESEM) facility based at the Arnoldus Science Complex. Visit the Department of Physics website for more details.
