The University of San Carlos offers various types of scholarships, including merit-based, academic, athletic, performing arts, financial aid, working scholarships, as well as those provided by the government and private entities.

Scholarship sponsors include the University of San Carlos, alumni, private industry, and the government. The Office of Alumni Affairs, Scholarships, and Job Placement is dedicated to helping financially challenged students pursue a Carolinian education.
All non-merit scholars of the University of San Carlos come from families who belong in the bottom 20% of household income group. To learn more about how to apply for this type of scholarship, kindly follow the links or email addresses below.

The Carolinian Honors List (CHL) is for tertiary students who are ranked 1st, 2nd and 3rd of each cluster. It is awarded to the students after their first and second semesters at the tertiary level.
The USC Merit Scholarship is for the top three Senior High School graduates from the San Carlos School of Cebu and also for SHS graduates ranked 1st from other schools. The graduate should come from a strand of at least 80 students. This scholarship highlights the Carolinian Advantage.
