USC grad places 6th in CPA board

Nathaniel Jilson B. Uy placed 6th in the October 2022 Certified Public Accountant Licensure Examination with a rating of 88.33 percent. The Professional Regulation Commission released the results on October 26, 2022.

Aside from producing a top-ten placer, USC ranked second among schools with at least 50 examinees. 

Out of 74 takers, 44 Carolinians successfully passed the examinations, garnering an overall passing score of 59.46% for USC compared to the national passing rate of 25.84%. 

Nationwide, only 1,722 out of 6,665 examinees successfully hurdled the exam.
