The Human Resource Management Office (HRMO) is now accepting applicants to the University of San Carlos Working Scholarship Program (WSP) for 2nd semester AY2022-23.
Applicants must have the following qualifications:
- Graduate of Senior High School or tertiary level students (1st and 2nd year students only);
- Must be willing to enroll or already enrolled in the following programs, i.e., Education, Anthropology;
- Must not have a grade lower than 2.5 or its equivalent;
- Must be able to reach at least the cut-off score of the qualifying examination;
- Parents’ combined income must not be more than Php250,000.00 per year;
- Must not be enjoying any other scholarship;
- Must render four (4) hours of work per day (on-site) from Monday to Saturday; and
- Must be committed and of good conduct.
The following documentary requirements must accompany the application:
- Working Scholar application form (c/o HRMO) with recent 2×2 photo;
- Copy of SHS grade or latest grades (for tertiary students);
- Latest Income Tax Return of parents or BIR certificate of exemption for parents who are not working or with no stable income;
- Parent’s written consent;
- Certificate of Good Moral Character (issued by last school attended);
- Health certificate (for non-USC graduates, issued by a government or private physician; for USC students, issued by the USC Campus physician); and
- Copy of vaccination certificate (vaxcert.doh.gov.ph).
