USC is 6th in PH in QS World University Rankings: Asia 2026

The University of San Carlos is ranked anew in the QS World University Rankings: Asia 2026. USC is ranked 6th in the Philippines, equal 94th in Southeast Asia, and equal 507th overall in Asia, surpassing 66.8% of institutions in the region.

In its largest survey for Asia yet, QS reported 1,526 published institutions.

The University of San Carlos is ranked highest in employer reputation (229th), followed by its academic reputation (264th). It is also ranked 393rd in inbound exchange students and 464th in outbound exchange students, underscoring its strong international profile.

The University held its position as the 6th top institution in the Philippines behind the University of the Philippines, Ateneo de Manila University, De La Salle University, University of Santo Tomas, and Adamson University. Overall, there are 35 published institutions in the country with 10 new entrants.

This news was released on November 4th, 2025 by the world ranking organization Quacquarelli-Symonds. This comes as a small respite to the University following serious flooding across Cebu brought about by typhoon Tino (Kalmaegi) shortly after the North Cebu earthquake.
