USC, Tra Vinh University sign MOU for faculty, student mobility

In a strategic move to broaden its international footprint and enhance academic synergy, the University of San Carlos (USC) formalized a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Tra Vinh University (TVU), Vietnam during a ceremonial signing held on April 25, 2026 at the VPAA Conference Room, USC Talamban Campus.

Expanding its reach to its Southeast Asian neighbors, USC simultaneously entered into a five-year academic alliance with Tra Vinh University. 

This international cooperation focuses on cross-border faculty and student exchanges, collaborative research projects, and specialized internship placements in Vietnam and the Philippines.

By entering into this partnership, USC and Tra Vinh University demonstrate a shared commitment to strengthening ties and fostering mutual support. This initiative aims to recalibrate the quality of education across regional and international higher education institutions and provide global opportunities, especially for students.
