June 10, 2020. The Office of the Vice President for Academic Affairs issued an advisory today for continuing students, especially those who belong to the previous curricula before the educational transition. Blended (online) lecture courses will be offered; please refer to the schedule of enrollment for the summer term. The Offices of the Vice President for Academic Affairs and Vice President for Finance have also issued a joint advisory for continuing students on financial matters, including possible assistance to enhance internet connectivity of students.

Update: May 19, 2020. March 13, 2020. Cebu City Mayor Edgardo C. Labella has ordered the suspension of classes since March 16, 2020 and extended the period to April 14, 2020 by issuing Executive Order no. 52. series of 2020. The Offices of the Vice President for Academic Affairs and Vice President for Administration has issued an updated memorandum detailing actions and directives for the USC Community. Earlier, on March 12, 2020, President Rodrigo R. Duterte held a press conference announcing government measures designed to slow down the spread of COVID-19 through Proclamation No. 922 s. 2020. Mandaue City Mayor Jonas C. Cortes through E.O. no. 63, s. 2020 has suspended classes in all schools in the neighboring city beginning March 13th until further notice, while Lapu-Lapu City Mayor Junard Chan suspended classes from March 14th to the 28th. Cebu Provincial Governor Gwendolyn F. Garcia also issued E.O. no. 5-G on March 14, 2020 in consonance with national and local efforts to slow down the spread of the virus.
