USC Department of Computer Engineering alumnus, Vincent Abella, together with his teammate, Vittorio Rossi from EPFL Switzerland, bagged 1st place during the Techstars Startup Weekend Bohol held on August 23–25, 2024, at the Centrio de San Jose, Tagbilaran City. 

With the guidance of their mentor-adviser, fellow computer engineering alumnus Jhury Kevin Lastre, Abella and Rossi developed the winning application, Fast Report. 

Fast Report is a standalone platform aims to automate validation processes done by third-party inspection companies with the use of artificial intelligence (AI). 

Techstars Startup Weekend Bohol 2024 is a three-day tech entrepreneurship program where participants pitch innovative ideas, form teams, and build startups.
