Eight Carolinians top CPA boards

CPA top notchers

Stewart Herbie T. Po (tied for 3rd place, 91.00%) heads the recent USC Accountancy class who swept the Certified Public Accountant Licensure Examination last May 2018.

Also placing in the top ten are Erra Kaye H. Doble (4th place, 90.83%), Peliza Faith D. Cabañero and Irish A. Kabingue (tied for 7th place, 89.83%), Charisse Michaela June Q. Catiel and Miguel Albert M. Taveros (tied for 8th place, 89.50%), and Angela Joy T. Go and Richmond John T. Rockwell (tied for 9th place, 89.33%).

USC had an overall passing of 83.72% (72 out of 86), with 71 out of 74 (95.95%) first-time takers hurdling the boards. Nationwide, the success rate was much lower (28.9%) with only 2,843 out of 9,830 examinees successfully passing the exams.
