Moirasia Foundation provides scholarship for accountancy majors

The University of San Carlos (USC) and Moirasia Foundation, Inc. have officially signed a scholarship agreement launching the Moirasia Youth Excellence Scholarship (YES) program for Accountancy majors commencing this first semester of Academic Year 2026-2027.

This scholarship program targets students pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy or a Bachelor of Science in Management Accounting at USC.

Driven by USC’s mission to provide educational opportunities to economically challenged but deserving students, the financial aid will continue according to the terms and conditions of the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) signed by both parties. 

The grantees may also be entitled to skills and training support, internship placements, board exam review assistance, and employment opportunities within the Ramon F. Garcia & Co. (RFGCo) Group of Companies upon graduation.

Interested grantees must submit the following requirements:

  • Moirasia YES Program Application Form and a printed or handwritten autobiography
  • PSA Certificate of Live Birth and a photocopy of a valid school ID with three specimen signatures
  • Copy of previous grades from the Office of the University Registrar
  • Barangay Certificate of Indigency and a Social Case Study report from the local MSWDO
  • Recent BIR Income Tax Return, Certificate of Low Income/Tax Exemption, or a one-month family payslip
  • USC Scholarship Office Certificate of No Scholarship
  • Photocopy of DSWD 4Ps Program ID (if applicable)
  • Three 2 x 2 ID pictures with name tags
