Nine new Carolinian librarians hurdle licensure exam

The University of San Carlos and the Library and Information Science Section congratulate the successful Bachelor of Library and Information Science (B.L.I.S.) graduates who passed the Librarian Licensure Examination held last September 10 and 11, 2019. USC posted an overall passing average of 69.23% (9 out of 13) with first-time takers notching a passing of 77.78% (7 out 9). The national passing average was only 55.18% or 565 out of 1,024 examinees.
