Christianne Mae C. Balili placed second in the examination with a rating of 90.80, while Ivanne D’laureil I. Hisoler placed 4th (89.55) and Rheland S. Servacio 7th (89.00). Mark John H. Simondo, a graduate from University of St. La Salle in Bacolod City, topped the examinations with a rating of 91.05.

Last year, Karen Mae Calam topped (89.05) the 2016 Bar Examinations, while Fiona Cristy Lao (88.88, 3rd place), Anne Margaret Momongan (87.8, 7th), and Jefferson Gomez (87.7, 8th) also figured in the top ten.

In total, 73 Carolinian lawyers hurdled the November 2017 bar examinations, results of which were released on April 26, 2018. Sixty five of 70 (92.86%) graduates in April 2017 passed the bar examinations, compared to the national passing of only 25.55%. Eight other graduates from Summer 2017 and previous years also passed the examinations.
