USC has 24 new CPAs

CPALE March 2026

Demonstrating fortitude in the face of an increasingly challenging examination, the University of San Carlos (USC) has 24 new Certified Public Accountants, having achieved a 42.86% passing rate in the May 2026 Certified Public Accountant Licensure Examination (CPALE), outpacing the national average rate of 30.83%.

CPALE May 2026

Behind this result lies the grueling journey of our CPALE takers. This milestone honors their unyielding grit, conquering late-night study sessions and intense pressure to achieve their dreams. This success is equally shared with the vital support networks—the families and friends—who stood by the examinees as their silent anchors.

We also recognize the undying commitment of our instructors at the USC Department of Accountancy, as well as their department chair, Dr. Challoner A. Matero. They did far more than teach—they mentored, cheered, and steadily guided our students through every hurdle straight to the finish line.

Congratulations, Carolinian Public Accountants!
