The USC Department of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering, in cooperation with the Philippine Society of Mechanical Engineers-Lapu-Lapu Chapter (PSME-LLP), successfully held the 9th International Mechanical Engineering Research Conference last January 24-25, 2019 at the Michael Richartz Conference Center in Talamban Campus.
Close to 400 international and local researchers and students as well as industry representatives participated in the conference (see photo above). Guest speakers were able to share their perspective on the conference theme, which is “Mechanical Engineering Research for Continual Development and Sustainability.”

This conference provides a venue to discuss a range of technology-related topics and other areas of interest in the field It also affords opportunities to meet and network with colleagues and share experiences through three breakout sessions each in the afternoon of January 24th, and the morning of January 25th.
