Fireside chat on PH education, ASEAN mobility, and future of learning

Richard R. Jugar, Ph.D., FHEA, Director of USC’s Educational Practices, Instruction, and Curriculum (EPIC) Development Office, will be the featured guest on the fireside chat series, Notes from the Field, on November 27, 2025 at the Rigney Hall in Bunzel Building, Talamban Campus.

Dr. Jugar will speak about issues related to Philippine education, regional mobility particularly in the ASEAN, and, with the advent of AI, the future of learning.

On-site registration for the event starts at 8:30 a.m. Participants may pre-register by scanning the QR code below. The event is open to the general public.

This is the third of a series of fireside chats that the USC Research, Development, Extension, and Publications Office (RDEPO) has organized. The first conversation, featuring USC vector biologist Dr. Frances Edillo, took place in August, while the second installment last month with Dr. Ruby Suazo tackled Filipino philosophy and its struggles with memory, identity and the ethics of self. One chat originally slated in September with Carla Marie Adlawan on branding was postponed and will be re-scheduled next semester.
