USC is ranked 83rd in SEA by QS Asia University Rankings 2025

The University of San Carlos is ranked 83rd in Southeast Asia and in the 481-490 bracket for Asia by the Quacquarelli-Symonds (QS) Asia University Rankings 2025, which was released at 6:30 p.m. on November 6, 2024 during the QS Higher Education Summit APAC held in Macau SAR.

Earlier in June 2024, USC was also included in the QS World University Rankings 2025 (read related story here).

According to QS, there are 984 published institutions in Asia with 142 new entrants. In the Philippines, there are 25 ranked institutions with nine new entrants.

USC scored second highest in the Philippines for citations per paper and 6th highest score in academic reputation, both key metrics in the QS rankings. Last year, USC was ranked by QS AUR in the 551-600 bracket and 88th in SEA.
