Two grads top Civil Engg board exam

Kevin M. Melendres (6th place, 94.65%, left) and John Ivan M. Gapud (9th, 94.30%, right) head the latest crop of Carolinian Civil Engineers. USC had a passing of 78.13% for first-time takers (50 out of 64) and 61 out of 98 (62.24%) overall.

The Civil Engineer Licensure Examination was given to 13,887 examinees last November 10-11, 2018 in Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga. The national passing percentage is only 45.09%.
