The USC Counseling and Development Center (CDC) will launch the virtual Career Month 2021 celebration tomorrow, November 5, 2021 at 9:00 a.m. via Zoom with a live-stream on the CDC Facebook page.
The month-long celebration has the theme “Leveling up Carolinian’s Career Path: a reCAST.” The theme reflects the University’s focus to recast itself during the new normal.
Webinars, forums, clinics, surveys, and assessments will be offered for various audiences from grade school to the tertiary level. Parents, faculty members, and staff can also attend webinars specifically organized for them. These activities aim to equip Carolinians with the knowledge and skills and provide them with the necessary support channels that will level up the pursuit of their careers. Contests and games will also make the celebration fun and engaging.
The USC CDC invites the entire Carolinian community to join this month-long celebration.
November 5, 9:00 a.m. Launching and webinar 1: Tapping inner resources for a creative career decision-making
November 20, 9:00 a.m. Building Bridges: The industry and academe forum
November 27, 1:00 p.m. Culmination and webinar 2: Career decision-making: Parental role and beyond

JUMPSTART webinars: USC Lower BED South Campus
CPAG webinars: USC Junior High School South Campus
Career Database Program Grades 1 and 2: USC BED North Campus
Data-based Career Choice Symposium: USC BED North Campus
Year-round activities include career interest surveys and career assessment. Students may also set an appointment with their School counselor. Self-discovery modules and career clinics for Senior High School students will also be offered to different Schools and Departments; details will be provided by the respective CDC counselors.
