The University joins the entire nation in commemorating the 143rd birth anniversary of the late President of the Philippines Sergio Osmeña Sr. on September 9th.

The Province of Cebu and all component cities enjoy a special non-working holiday on September 9 by virtue of Republic Act 6953. Students, faculty members, and staff will have no class and no work on this day.
