The University of San Carlos continues to uphold its legacy of academic excellence with another strong performance in the October 2025 Electronics Engineering and Electronics Technicians Licensure Examinations (ECELE). According to the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC), 1,040 out of 2,319 examinees passed the Electronics Engineers Licensure Examination (ECELE), reflecting a national passing rate of 44.85%, while USC recorded a 73.08% passing rate for first-time takers.
Two Carolinians also ranked among the top examinees in the country: Del Einstein Eliot Besabella placed second, while Joseph Neil Ceniza Colo placed third.

USC likewise posted an outstanding performance in the Electronics Technicians Licensure Examination (ECTLE), securing the 4th highest ranking nationwide with a 90.91% passing rate among schools with at least ten examinees and a minimum passing rate of 80%.
“These results reflect the unwavering dedication of our students and faculty to uphold the Carolinian standard of excellence,” said Dr. Edward Querikiol, Chair of the USC Department of Electronics and Communications Engineering. “More than producing board passers, we form professionals who lead with technical competence, integrity, and service to society.”
