The University of San Carlos (USC) has once again garnered recognition as one of the best higher education institutions (HEIs) in Asia based on the most recent Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) 2021 World University Rankings for Asia. For the third time in a row, USC joins the top universities in Manila in this prestigious annual ranking.
QS examines six metrics in ranking universities, namely academic reputation, employer reputation, faculty/student ratio, citations per faculty, international faculty ratio, and international student ratio. Joining the top five universities are 11 others for the first time.
In recognition of this achievement, the House of Representatives through Speaker Lord Alan Jay Velasco extended its congratulations to USC and other universities in the QS list (see photo below).
This is the latest accolade USC has received in less than a month right after it received six different awards from the Commission on Higher Education (CHED).
Despite the global pandemic, USC remains committed to provide quality education through competence, leadership, and excellence.
