USC’s Laboratory Animal Facility has been awarded a Certificate of Accreditation by the Philippine Association of Laboratory Animal Science (PALAS) in compliance with the Animal Welfare Act of 1998 (R.A. No. 8485, as amended by R.A. No. 10631). USC is the first university in Central Visayas to have a PALAS-accredited animal facility.
